Journal Match: Where to Publish Your Article Online
So, you want to publish an article! With hundreds of scholarly journals and trade magazines in your field, figuring out where to submit your manuscript can be overwhelming.
In this active workshop, attendees will work with librarian Tammy Ivins to reflect on our existing or planned manuscript, identify our publishing priorities, and locate the best fits among the journals/magazines in our field. During this workshop, we will use the "Journal Match" .pdf worksheet available on our Research Process Guide.
Tammy has worked as a journal editor for Endnotes and Reference Services Review, and she is currently on the review board for Reference Services Review. She co-wrote the book How To Write And Get Published: A Practical Guide For Librarians, along with several book chapters, peer-reviewed articles, and other publications. See Tammy's Google Scholar profile here.
