JFK Advanced Legal Research: Group Session

JFK Advanced Legal Research: Group Session In-Person

Join law librarian Jamie Diermier for an deep-dive into legal research. This workshop goes a step above the 101 workshop offering to demonstrate how to approach an actual research problem using advanced searching skills. Each session will be limited to 5 students or less to allow for individual attention.

There will be hypos (fact patterns, or hypothetical legal issues) presented at the beginning of the workshop, and each participant will discover how to approach a legal issue or question, from broad to specific. Participant screensharing is welcomed but not required.

REQUIRED PRIOR TO SESSION: Each participant must have their WestlawEdge and Lexis+ accounts established prior to the event. See this FAQ regarding access and send any questions to jdiermier@ncu.edu.

Recommended prior to session: Watch the Research 101 recording here.

Students who register and attend this Library Event will be entered to win a gift card.
